The world’s largest gold coin
Making of the world's largest gold coin, a 2007 Canadian $ 1000.000 Maple Leaf. This coin breaks all records: It weighs a staggering 100 kilos and measures 53 cm in diameter. But the most remarkable thing about this impressive coin, which cannot even be lifted by two men, is that it is made exclusively of the purest, finest and most refined gold: 999.99/1000 gold.

wow that is sooo cool its will be on sale for $4.000.000.00 us on june/25/2010
`wow wow world’s largest gold coin,
Phucking awesome.
I enjoyed to see how they made this piece of art, Thanks 4 sharing!
can I the excess weight waste?
I ordered two of those bad boys yesterday. Cant wait till they get here!
yay giant coin made of gold that i wish grew on trees!
its worth 4 million 300 and 32 thousand dollars as of 17 oct 2010
I’d love to be the one who sweeps the floor in that place. Of course I’d be taking the sweep debris home.
@redwingBlackbird555 if it grew on trees it would be worthless, the only reason its precious is because its rare
imagine the piggy bank u need for that!
Although this coin is really cool, its just WAYYY too big for anyone to really want to own it (those who can afford it). I mean, you need 3 people to lift it!! The Canadian mint was better off making a 1 kilo size, it would have been much more profitable for them.
Someone needs to make a Gold Eagle this big in the USA
Hmm I did not think that these things would be cast. The canadian mint always raises the “coin” with their products, very nice video =)
here goes our taxes just to build that ”thing”. i mean u can use that money for a cure for the cancer!
i own 4 of the one ounce versions of this coin~~~
