I love your vids! I love the way you explain and present them. Thank you for the time you take to teach newbies like me!
Now a question; I have been picking up”junk” siver for the future. But me son tells me that it can not legally be melted because it is US currancy. Is this true? If not how will we get it melted?

  2. WhyMeWhySilver says:

    @cgbingo

Hi! In fact, you have to tell your son that it is no longer illegal for a refinery to melt down the U.S. 90% Coinage :>( That law has expired. That’s sad because history will be removed. Now I don’t have the law here in front of me….but at one time it WAS illegal to do so. As of 2006 the U.S. Mint has made it illegal to melt down, and has limited the amount of face dollar value of the U.S. Copper Cent and the U.S. Five Cent Nickel that can be sent out of the U.S. to another country.

I used to be American Eagle but am beginning to explore junk silver and usually buy cheap silver.

  4. WhyMeWhySilver says:

    @bennmug I think you’re wise :>)

Viewed. Thanks. Why not just call them ‘melt’ silver instead? I’m planning on buying some ‘junk’ silver :) to start my collection this weekend.

  7. davfritz says:

No, no, no……… let the world call it JUNK! That way it gives me a better chance of hordeing it! There is no better JUNK!

I don’t call it Junk Silver, I call it Fractional Silver.

  11. bliss1121 says:

I buy my junk @ providentmetals com. No minimum order!

  12. 9DragonMaster says:

can i get silver out of silver solder?

  13. SkylarsMoMo says:

What about small silver buillon beads (or granuals, as I’ve heard them called)? Do you know any place they can be purchased?

  14. WhyMeWhySilver says:

@SkylarsMoMo I have 10oz of the .999 silver shot set back. You can usually buy or trade these on a forum. They can also be purchased at APMEXDOTCOM under the industrial silver icon.

  15. inhuman0id says:

I love u dude… junk silver will help kill the undead plague … that is coming :)

  16. Tacocat21 says:

    That’s not junk, it’s history.

  17. jeffgooloolie says:

its called junk, because 60% of the weight is crap metal. Silver already has a poor $/oz. How are you going to transport all the weight of silver (especially since 60% of the weight is crap metal)

  18. WhyMeWhySilver says:

@jeffgooloolie Let me help you. These U.S. Silver Coins are 90% Silver. And the other 10% isn’t scrap….it’s copper :>)

  19. Tacocat21 says:

I tried to buy silver from my grandma and I payed her spot silver price.

  20. WhyMeWhySilver says:

@jeffgooloolie This GUY is a FOOL! If I were to let you view his other comments on my other video’s you’d want to get a prescription for Blood Pressure Medicine to keep from wanting to do bodily harm to him…..:>)

  21. VivaLaPol says:

I was told some of these 40% silver coins aren’t worth refining until silver price goes a lot higher. Is this true?

  22. ATL45 says:

That first big fancy numismatic coin you showed, how much is it worth? Why not sell that to buy a larger quantity of silver in junk or bullion form?

  23. WhyMeWhySilver says:

@ATL45 That’s one of the many Numismatic I had purchased before I became wise/ I’ll certainly sell it to you if you give me it’s book value. I’d really rather just sit on the coin rather than sell it at a loss. As long as I’m holding it….I lose nothing.

  24. YouDiddntSeeAnything says:

@VivaLaPol You don’t need to refine it, it can be traded to the value of 40% of its weight as pure silver.

  25. rogertayloRRR says:

So the 40% kennedys arent a good idea?
