My Coin Collection Part 6: Half Dollars

Part 6 of my collection will cover .50 cent pieces including Kennedy's, Franklin's, Liberty Walking's, Barber/Liberty Head's, Liberty Seated's, and Capped Bust's. If you have any questions just ask. But please be advised I am not too familiar with specifics about foreign coins.

nah, they made way too many of them for them to be worth much leme look up the exact number, it seems to be around 809 million of them compared to about a little more than half that they made in 1977.

Awesome collection…esp the CC Seated Liberty and the Capped Bust–but it’s surprising that the Walking Liberty is one of your least favorites…it’s a beautiful design, esp in higher grades with a nice mint luster

Nice to see your interested in coin collecting.
I have been a collector of coins & tokens for over 40 years.
May I suggest however before you post information about your coins, that you do more research so you may correctly give out information you wish to share. You were I’m afraid, “Wrong” on a number of things you said about the coins.

    Like what?

FatherAway420 – are you a numismatist or just a moderate collector and how many years have you been collecting? Just curious if you have any gold pieces? How old are you? Did you buy these coins or inherit them? Coin collecting has truly taken on a lot of new interest groups and individuals in the past 8 years or so. I’m a numismatic fanatic myself for 21 years.

Nice collection of half dollars! The farthest back my collection goes in the range of half dollars is the walking liberty. By the way, you shouldn’t keep the capped bust in a 2×2, it can oxidize.
