Gold Coins of the Byzantine Empire. Emperors. 491-867
www.imperiobizantino.com Gold coins with byzantine emperors. From Anastasius I to Michael III. 491-867. The song is All The Day of Gods, from the CD Constantinople, my Beloved City. Monedas de oro con imágenes de los emperadores bizantinos desde Anastasio hasta Miguel III. Años 491 hasta 867.

All are wonderful pieces!! I was told that the silver byzantine coin types are even more difficult to find!!
the coin of ‘Constantine VII’ is actually a coin of Constantine VIII, who ruled from 1025 AD
They practiced Regicide, the longest rain was I think only 45 years and not a day more.
My mother comes from the island of Cyprus. She owns a byzantine coin which was found on her great grandfather’s farm in a jar. I would like to know how if you can connect me with someone who can identify it and it’s value. They called it a “Constantnatiko” (coin of constantine). I am not sure if it actually dates back to the days of Constantine.
…I happen to own sth. pretty alike…, brother.
I guess it’s just another sample of Greeks’/Rums’
Byzantine/Rum heritage across the ages…
God bless Greek/Rum Cyprus+Cypriots,
from darkness,
into His Light!
